Great Commission University representatives joined the first day of the Global Christian Education Summit which was solemnly inaugurated with an Opening Service, uniting the participants under the word and grace of God.

In the sermon, preacher Dr. Jonathan Park, President of Olivet University, reflected on various passages, including the Summit’s theme verse Ephesians 4:12, reminding the participants of the unchanging foundation of true Christian education, which is the knowledge of the cross of Christ. 

The service included a music performance presented by Jubilee University representatives.

Following the service an extended prayer meeting led by Elim representatives invoked the power of the Holy Spirit on the participants. 

GCU Chair of the Board, Dr. Gebhardt and President Foerster convened with Summit delegates and discussed the implications of recent developments in the educational community. 

The day concluded with high anticipations for the following day that features a rich program including a mentoring session, keynotes, presentations of all education ministries, and workshops.
