Great Commission University (GCU) is called to serve missions in global perspective, constantly gathering and sending out missionaries from and to all parts of the world.

The new Howe, Indiana campus becomes a center for globalizing missions, a place for educating and training missionaries, for refreshment of spirit, body and mind.

Globalization is a very common term and movement, but it has been engrossed by the secular world referring to secular economy, politics, culture. The churches are called to recover the globalizing movement and transfer it to missions and evangelism. GCU serves churches and parachurches to achieve this goal.

As the true church exists only in and through performing evangelism and partaking in missions, so does GCU understand its purpose and identity completely as founded in and following God’s mission and sending.
